Are you getting the most out of Packet Tracer 5.3? (2 day workshop)

 

This workshop will include new protocols and features available in the latest version of Packet Tracer.  This includes:


Security – IPSec VPNs, Router Firewall Features.
VoIP – Cisco phones, ip telephony features in Call Manager Express, QoS features
OSPF – Multi-area OSPF routing protocol support
BGP – BGP routing protocol support
WAN support including Frame-Relay, DSL, and Cable Modems
Wireless Technologies
DNS, DHCP, FTP, TFTP, SYSLOG, AAA, NTP, HTTP, and EMAIL services on servers in Packet Tracer
Multi-user features – how to use multi-user and peer to peer connections in Packet Tracer.
ASPIRE – Promote entrepreneurship using the new game ASPIRE built on Packet Tracer engine.

Workshop will meet in Room 106A of the Business Building.

  • to increase IT enrollment and completion rates, with more IT jobs filled;
  • to implement widely the new Kentucky IT curriculum;
  • to enhance the expertise of high school, community college, and technical college IT faculty;
  • to support and enhance IT initiatives across the Commonwealth; and
  • to increase the support and participation of business, government, and industry.
